What to Expect When You Visit

First of all, we want you to feel welcome. How a person dresses can be a big deal, but we don’t want it to be. Generally, you’ll find that people tend to dress up a bit for church, but you’ll also see jeans and sneakers here and there. Jesus Christ had words of rebuke for those who did things in order to get praise from man, so that’s something for all of us to ponder. When we come to worship, we shouldn’t be trying to get attention from others.

We offer a nursery for little ones up through age 3 during our Worship Service. Older children attend our regular service where there is a special Children's Sermon from the pastor more geared for their level. In our main worship service you’ll be able to enjoy prepared special music, as well as sing hymns of the faith as part of worship. Music generally includes the accompaniment of the piano, as well as brass and wind instruments, and at times other instruments.

One thing that makes us a bit unique is that the first Sunday of every month has a specific focus on missions and the Lord’s Table. In lieu of a sermon, when the Lord’s Table is celebrated, different leaders in the church speak to us relative to the significance of the Lord’s Table and all it represents. And on that particular Sunday, all of the offering goes to support missions.

On most other Sundays of every month, you will experience a time of scripture reading and prayer prior to a sermon preached by our preaching pastor proclaiming life changing truths of God’s Word, the Bible. At the core of everything we do, we want Christ to be magnified.
