Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?  Acts 8:36

Believer's Baptism

The Bible teaches that baptism is the next logical step after salvation.  We believe the Bible teaches that baptism is a testimony of a believer’s faith in Christ. Therefore, we often refer to it as “Believer’s Baptism.”

Mode of Baptism

The Greek word that was transliterated as “baptism” literally means to plunge, immerse or soak. Therefore, baptism means to place under or fully immerse in water. The biblical examples of baptism all demonstrate this as the intended mode of baptism.

Meaning of Baptism

Baptism is a picture or representation of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. A believer who participates in baptism is demonstrating their identification with Christ and testifying of their reliance on Christ’s work of salvation based only on faith.  Baptism does not save you, but it is a testimony of the salvation that has already occurred!
